Pictures of numbers

This is my side project about pictures of numbers in ascendant order taken in Montréal.

Numbers are very present in our daily life and we are so unaware of them. Once you learn how to read, you instinctively read everything that is written because these symbols that we code as words are ingrained in our brain. This same principle applies for numbers even more so than words because numbers are more universal. You can find these symbols (the numbers) in many parts of the world, and they are comforting in that way that they are recognizable at a glance.

Since I started looking for the numbers on the street, I have become more aware of my surroundings. I really enjoy the time I spend looking around, discovering little things that are seemingly camouflaged in our routine.
